Every construction site in South Mississippi—from new homes and remodels to commercial developments—has one thing in common: people working hard to get the job done. And when you have people on site all day, there’s one essential you can’t overlook—clean, convenient restroom access.
That’s why Southern On Site provides reliable, sanitary porta potty rentals for construction projects across Mississippi and Louisiana. Whether your crew is pouring concrete, roofing, or handling site prep, having proper facilities isn’t just about comfort—it’s about compliance, productivity, and professionalism.
1. Meeting OSHA Requirements
Construction site sanitation isn’t optional—it’s required. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mandates that every construction site provide adequate restroom facilities for workers.
According to OSHA, you must have:
- 1 toilet for 1–20 workers
- 1 toilet + 1 urinal for 21–40 workers
- 2 toilets + 1 urinal for 41–60 workers, and so on
Failing to provide restroom facilities can result in fines, but more importantly, it affects worker morale and health. Southern On Site makes compliance easy with fast delivery and routine servicing so your site always stays up to standard.
2. Boosting Productivity on the Job
When there’s no restroom nearby, workers often have to leave the site to find one. Those quick “bathroom breaks” can add up to hours of lost productivity every week.
With on-site portable toilets, your crew stays focused and efficient. Southern On Site delivers and services porta potties directly on location so your workers have what they need, where they need it—no wasted time driving off-site.
3. Prioritizing Worker Comfort & Health
Construction work is demanding—especially under the South Mississippi sun. Providing clean, well-maintained restrooms helps crews stay hydrated, comfortable, and focused.
Our units are:
- Regularly cleaned and sanitized
- Stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer
- Available in standard and ADA-accessible models
We also offer handwashing stations and sanitizer stands to promote hygiene and reduce the spread of germs on site.
4. Protecting Your Professional Reputation
When clients or inspectors visit a job site, first impressions matter. A clean, organized site shows professionalism—and that includes restroom facilities.
Southern On Site’s bright, well-maintained units reflect your commitment to safety and quality. Our dependable service ensures your porta potties never become an eyesore or a problem for your crew.
